Creating a Conda environment

To create a conda environment using a specific Python version, run:

conda create python=3.xx --prefix my-python-env

Replace python=3.xx with the desired Python version. E.g.: python=3.11. Use the prefix argument to give your environment a name.

Finally, activate your environment with conda activate my-python-env.

Note: If the environment is not found by its prefix, you may have to specify the absolute path to it when activating. E.g.: conda activate /home/<username>/project/my-python-env.
